Steph Gunary’s new ensemble-style adaptation
of Goldoni’s hilarious farce uses clowning and commedia to create a punchy and highly energetic production. Identical
twins arrive in a strange town to seek love, each unaware of the other. They, along with the township, are thrown into bewildering
chaos of mistaken identity. The show was revamped for its run at the Edinburgh Festival 2010
at C, Venue 34, at Adam House, Chambers Street, Edinburgh. The production had rave reviews with the Edinburgh press
and was described as the "MUST SEE show 2010".
