ABOUT GREENE SHOOTS THEATRE

Greene Shoots Theatre was founded in 2002 and specialise in staging classic texts adapted for large ensemble-style casts. Our fast-paced and visual productions are performed using physical theatre, mime, chorus work, slapstick and clowning. Although based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, we have regularly performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where independent reviewers have described our work as:

"This adaptation uses music and physical theatre to create an exciting visual performance.... the effect was to produce a very modern and watchable interpretation. ... Their performance was energetic and very entertaining. Their comic timing was excellent and it was very much an ensemble. "   Counter Culture Magazine (2006)
